Group Lottery
There are many people (e.g. husband/wife pairs) that only want to participate if certain other people also are allowed to run. Using the group feature allows just that. The purpose of a group is to tie individuals together for the lottery. This is not a team signup! Once the lottery pick is made, the groups will dissolve. Everyone in that group is either all in, or all out. Your odds will not go up or down by going through the lottery process as a group.
All group members must sign up by December 8. Group members cannot be added after Dec 8.
Group size is limited to up to 6 applicants. No exceptions.
If the group is drawn, each group member will be charged the $70 entry fee.
Groups cannot be linked together.
HERE'S HOW YOU REGISTER YOUR GROUP
1. The first person to register selects Lottery Option: Group (Start a group) on the first page of their registration form.
2. That same person enters a group name on the second page of their registration form, then completes the form.
3. Subsequent group members select Lottery Option: Group (Join a group) on the first page of their registration forms.
4. They can search for their group by group name or by the name of members of the group that have already registered.
5. After choosing "Join Group", they'll be re-routed to the registration form, which they can then complete.
The group name must be unique.
You cannot change the name of your group.
Members of the same group can sign up for either race (half marathon or five mile).
