Photos of the 2011 race are available from ASI photography!

The 9th annual The Other Half will be Sunday, October 21, 2012.

The 13.1-mile long course starts at Dewey Bridge and parallels the Colorado River amid backdrops of gorgeous scenery, including prominent landmarks Fisher Towers, Castle Rock, and the La Sal Mountains.  Listen for the Taiko Drummers at the start and at the hill at Mile 12, and look forward to lush green scenery at Sorrel River Ranch Resort and delicious post-race microbrews courtesy of the Moab Brewery.

What People Say About The Other Half

This is one of the most well organized races I have ever participated in. Great volunteers, great schwag, well-run website, responsive staff and beautiful course! Thanks so much!

It's the Cadillac of half marathons!

Fabulous, good food, love the atmosphere at the finish line, love the beer, love the location. This is my favorite race.

The course and small field make this an exquisite race. All aspects of the event from registration through packet pickup through the shuttle buses and the race itself seemed very well run. Great job!!

I really love this race. It's so beautiful and the people who work it and run it are wonderful. The temperature is fantastic in the fall and the size of the group is purposely kept small. That makes it feel intimate. I feel a great connection when I see someone wearing the race shirt or jacket from the Other Half; we've shared the same special place and event and that connects us.

The drums at the last hill were phenomenal!

My son and I will definitely do this race again next year...we had a great time!!! What a beautiful course and extremely well put together race...Thank you

Free Beer on Sunday in Utah, WELL DONE.
