RACE INFORMATION

Start Time: 10 am

The first 100 entrants will receive a guarantee entry into the 2010 Canyonlands Half Marathon (fees not included). Runners will be required to pick up their race packets in person on December 4th or 5th to guarantee entry.

Race packets can be picked up and late registration will be accepted at the Grand County High School (608 S 400 E) on Friday, December 4th from 5—7 PM and Saturday, December 5th from 8:15—9:30 AM.

The first 700 participants will be guaranteed a long-sleeve tech shirt.

Shuttles to the start will depart at 8:45 AM on Saturday from the High School parking lot; there will be no post-race shuttle.

Lodging information:
The following lodging establishments are offering special rates to all race participants. To receive a discount, mention the Winter Sun 10K.

Following the race, refreshments will be provided near the finish at the High School.  Raffle drawings will take place for cool stuff from the local merchants at the awards ceremony.  Awards will be given to the first male and female finisher overall and to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the following categories:

Male and female: 11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
